The No Boundaries 5K program is designed for the true beginner runner and walk/runner. During this 12-week program, participants are surrounded by a team of dedicated, motivated people all working toward the goal of becoming healthy and strong. By the time they cross the finish line of their goal 5K (3.1 mile) race, team members will have learned the importance of proper form, stretching, hydration, and nutrition - all the tools needed to maintain their new fitness routine.  Our next program kicks off with an informational meeting on  Wednesday, May 10th at 7 pm in Greensboro for registered participants.  The program will begin on Monday, May 15th at 6:00pm at Fleet Feet Greensboro and Fleet Feet High Point.

Program Perks

  • PROVEN: We've helped hundreds of new athletes complete their first 5K. 100% of the participants in our Spring 2015 program reported that they improved their fitness level and more than 90% reported achieving their personal goals. 
  • No BoundariesCAMARADERIE: Group training is like having a personal fitness support group. Our support group meets twice weekly; Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm at Fleet Feet Greensboro and Fleet Feet High Point.

  • GRADUAL: We take pride in helping participants safely improve their fitness levels. Our mission is to help team members move more comfortably at every athletic stage of training.

All No Boundaries participants will receive:

  • A professionally designed, 12-week training program, including daily workouts.
  • 2 weekly coached group workouts.  Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm at Fleet Feet Greensboro and Fleet Feet High Point.
  • Coaches and pace groups (walk/run, and run) at each coached group workout.  
  • Weekly communications and support from our dedicated coaching staff.
  • Seminars and clinics on topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, how to dress in the ever-changing Triad weather, and cross-training.
  • Affiliation with our extensive team of community partners, health professionals, and service providers who offer benefits to all No Boundaries team members.
  • Race day support and post-party.

Program Descriptions

NEW! Walk FIT - (Learn more about Walk FIT)

    • No experience necessary.
    • Designed exclusively for walkers of all fitness levels and abilities
    • Participants will have a 5 day training schedule including twice a week group training sessions with coach and mentors


    • No experience necessary.
    • Run/walk interval training program for beginners
    • Participants will have 4 workouts per week (2 workouts as a group).  Start running while learning the elements of safe and smart training


    • Perfect for those who have recently completed their first 5K and want to improve, or aren't ready for longer distances yet.
    • Participants will have 4 workouts per week (2 workouts as a group).
    • Program builds 5K confidence and improves speed.
